A number of companies provide private airline charters direct to both King Island & Barnbougle from Moorabbin and Essendon airports.
Operating for small groups from 4 – 12 pax predominantly. Private charters save time, offer flexibility (you can choose your departure time and will never miss a flight again!) and work out to be very cost effective, especially during the high season when commercial flights can become expensive.

Rated number 2 Golf Course in Australia by Australian Golf Magazine and Number 11 in the World by U.S. Golf Digest, The Dunes, with its spectacular vistas of Tasmania’s North East Coast, is a spectacular example of traditional Links golf. The 18 hole championship layout was designed by course architects Tom Doak and Mike Clayton.
Ranked #2 public course in Australia by Golf Australia Magazine, and #23 in the World by US Golf Digest, the Lost Farm course is an exciting challenge for Golfers of all levels. The sand dunes on which Lost Farm is located are steeper and more dramatic than those of Barnbougle Dunes, making it a remarkably different course.
The golf course at Cape Wickham has captured the attention of international golf critics and has already been ranked #3 course in Australian & #24 in the world rankings.
the golf course meanders through towering dunes and along the beach, where the roar of the ocean and a salty breeze embraces golfers, plotting their way around one of the world’s most natural golf courses. one of the great features of the course is the variability in playing conditions depending on the time of day you are playing the course. the mornings tend to offer windless playing experiences with often crisp cloudless days whereas in the afternoon the wind tends to pick up and provides challenges on many of the closing holes.
Rolling dunes and unsurpassed views along 2km of coastal frontage. Six holes adjacent to Southern Ocean with signature 4th and 10th par 3’s heroic one shot holes playing over the surging water. Multiple tee blocks for players of all standards, smooth firm bent grass greens and fine fescue tees and fairways. Course features coastal Marram and Rushes, wildlife includes wallabies, peacocks, sea eagles and black swans among many others.
